The Pit is a flat area that is mostly grassland. It's known for the giant square-shaped pit in the middle of the map, and the elephant which will sometimes appear and float upwards indefinitely.
Two entryways reside on opposite sides of the map, one leading to The Natural World, and the other leading to The Sumo Ring (and Organic Tunnels).

Gargoyle
A Gargoyle will sometimes appear in front of the player. It flies around making a shriking sound. Most likely based on the traditional mythical Gargoyles of lore.

On the kanji textures the ground has a symbol that seems like 扉 that means door or opening.
